Life

Where the tree line burns

The trail fades

We turn only to see where we have been

Holding your own

Scattered around you souls of the day

Lifeless and barely aware

Fleeting is clock and eager to remind

Life is moving faster than time

Consumed

A sheltered life waiting for a break in the traffic of life's daily transport of confusion.

The day of rain will pass and too many days of sun will leave you withered.

A whispered thought if too quiet,  will leave you screaming for more.

Six years in the mirror and you never change.

Too much pain and you will begin to believe it's normal.
